Who we are

This policy covers the websites and services run by Multimedia Entertainment Hub LLC ("MEH Studios", "we", "us"): mehstudios.net, MS:NET accounts at auth.mehstudios.net, our status page at status.mehstudios.net, and our game servers. MEH Studios is the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run each service.

MS:NET account: your username, email address, a securely hashed password, and records of sign-ins (time, IP address and browser) used to keep your account safe.
Game servers (BeamMP and Assetto Corsa): your in-game name, IP address, connection times and chat messages, kept in server logs to run the servers and enforce the rules.
Messages you send us: the contents of emails or support requests and the address you send them from.
Technical data: when you visit any of our sites, our hosting and network providers process your IP address, browser details and the pages you request, so the sites can be delivered and protected from abuse.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers on our websites.

Why we use it

To provide your MS:NET account and the services you sign in to (performance of a contract).
To keep our services secure, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy (legitimate interests).
To answer your messages and support requests (legitimate interests, or contract when it concerns your account).
To meet legal obligations, for example responding to lawful requests from authorities.

We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf and only as we instruct:

Cloudflare, for content delivery, DNS, security and hosting of mehstudios.net.
SMTP2GO, for sending account and service emails.
Our own servers, which host MS:NET, the CMS, the status page and the game servers.

Our Discord server is run on Discord's platform, and Discord's own privacy policy applies to what you share there. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards the law provides, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

MS:NET account data: for as long as your account exists, then deleted within [retention period] of closing it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw any consent you gave. Children

Our services are not meant for children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age for consent. We do not knowingly collect their data, and we delete it if we learn we have.

Security

We protect data with encrypted connections, access controls and regular updates to our systems. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password for MS:NET.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell MS:NET account holders by email.
